When starting a new Memento game, you may choose the difficulty level for it. The difficulty level and the number of movements you do to finish a game will influence your score. The higher the difficulty and the fewer movements you make, the greater your score will be.

When you'll play a "Very Easy" or an "Easy" level, the pictures you click won't be turned face-down after you click them. Thus to finish the game you will only have to match them. These levels are intended for small children. In the others levels the pictures you click will be turned face-up only for a small amount of time and then they will be turned face-down again. In order to finish these levels you'll have to remember the positions of the matching pictures. The "Very Hard" level uses images that closely resemble one another, thus making their positions harder to remember.

The purpose of the Memento game is to match similar images in a grid. When you have paired all the images in the grid the game will finish and you may see your score at the bottom of the page.

Click on a square and you will have it selected and the picture beneath revealed. Two identical images selected consecutively will be considered matched. You should try to remember the positions of the pictures because the less you turn them face-up the greater your score will be.

If, at the end of the game, the player's score is higher than his previous score, the current score will overwrite the previous score. Otherwise the current score is not saved. The high scores are displayed in descending order.
