Rolling Cubes" is a solitaire game of logic. Winning a game is like solving an intricate puzzle. And, while every game has a solution, finding it often takes hours of diligent play.
Overview
The game begins with a random configuration of cubes. The object of the game is to arrange all the numbered cubes (1 to 15) from left to right and from top to bottom. Every cube should have the same face color on top and the bottom of the number should be toward your point of view. The hole have to be in the lower-right corner of the playing area. The following image shows a solution with the Yellow face on top.
Playing the Game
The goal is to arrange all the cubes with the same face on top and with an equal orientation of the adjacent faces, leaving the hole in the lower-right corner of the playing area.
To Move a Cube
Tap on top of the cube you want to move. You can also use the arrow keys to move cube that is besides the hole and can move in the direction of the arrow.
Strategy and Hints
This section contains helpful hints to play "Rolling Cubes" successfully.
You should order the top row first and then the second one. To order the third and fourth lines you should begin with the first cube of each line (9 and 13). Then you proceed with the last two lines simultaneously from left to right (cubes 10 and 14) and finally the remaining ones (11, 12 and 15).
To change the orientation of the last three cubes (11,12 and 15), you have to find certain way to disarrange and arrange again some of the cubes that are already in position. You should do this in a way that once they are ordered, the cubes 11, 12 or 15 change their orientation. Repeating this method in different ways will allow you to order the last cubes correctly.
