TankZone - Your objective is simple: survive. Something must have gone wrong in the mission plan, for you find yourself alone in a strange alien territory. A vast plane stretches in all directions, bordered by massive impenetrable mountains. The only local reference points are three cubic buildings. The enemy is all about. First wave after wave of semi-intelligent tanks, sent to destroy with amour piercing shells. Luckily you too can arm yourself with similar weapons: watch out for the flags marking an ammunition dump. After the tanks come the UFO's - giant saucers which home in your position relentlessly. If you haven't got a good stockpile of ammunition, you'll be dead within seconds. There's worse to come: intelligence reports hint at ultra-fast tanks, and even the possibility of visual shielding. Just how long can you last out here? TankZone 2000 is charityware.
