Former computer specialist David Stickley has been setting crosswords professionally for over 10 years. He contributes regularly to major newspapers and magazines and teaches a crossword solving course at his local community college. David always ensures grids and clues are fair and accurate but does like to make the solver think 'outside the square'.
This book is designed for the anyone who has a good general knowledge and does not require any specific interest, hobby or skill.
This book of orthodox puzzles contains unusual grid constructions with some easier, highly-interlocked sections and some harder, open sections. This gives the solver good starting points which contribute letters to answers in the harder sections. David has used slang and colloquial language although clues do not indicate this directly, forcing the solver to think beyond the standard definitions and answers.
