SoundSeeing Rome Villa Borghese Park - This is a park for leisurely relaxing in the shade, certainly in Rome’s sweltering hot summers. It is a popular park because there is so much to do: walking, rowing, looking at statues, and viewing all sorts of remnants from the World’s Fair. Art enthusiasts also come here for the world famous Galleria Borghese. This museum/gallery is housed in an old villa, because the Romans had, quite early on, a preference for the countryside. There are also a number of other villas in the park that are now set up as museums.
