mEMA - mEMA, or mobile based Ecological Momentary Assessment, is a FREE application. With this application, researchers of TNO attempt to investigate the behavior and experiences of people in their daily life. The mapping of behaviors is performed as follows:
1. The participant is requested to answer several questions about his or her behavior, multiple times per day during a specific time period.
2. The answers that the participant provides are temporarily stored on the smartphone. As soon as the participant is connected to the internet via a 3G or WiFi connection, the answers are sent to the researchers.
3. The researchers will only use the collected data for research purposes. In addition, the information of participants will be treated confidentially and anonymity is ensured.
