The application is designed for Windows Mobile but also works on the Desktop (Microsoft .Net-Framework must be installed).
On the PDA the camera application stores photos with a very impractical name like XPPR-456.jpg. Now with this Software you can rename these photos by a single click or by drag and drop (or open with dialog).
In addition, they can be moved to another location. At the moment there are 3 different formats you can use. Duplicate names are prevented by intelligent naming.
The implemented formats are:
DATE_TIME_FileSize.jpg becomes for example 2009-09-15_15.57.38_1523kB.jpg
DATE_TIME_FileCounter.jpg
DATE_TIME_(FileCounter if necessary).jpg

PicturesLinker PicturesLinker checks the PocketPC cameras folder for new pictures and when a new picture is detected the program FTP uploads the image to a remote FTP server and creates a lnk file with the HTTP shortcut in the '/PicturesLinker/Logs' folder
PictureDaterer PictureDaterer checks the camera storage folder for new pictures. When a new image is detected the program makes a copy of the image and places the copy in the dated folder
