September 2009, first international version (English only) for Java/Symbian/PPC released.
March 31th, 2010, first version for iPhone released on App Store.
June 1st, 2010, Russian and Indonesian versions released.
August 2010, the Bahasa Indonesian version was launched.
November 2010, released UC Browser V7.4. This version improved the support for the WAP 2.0 standard and data compression, which can save 85% of data flow. In addition, the Free Copy function for Symbian platform was also launched.
Nov 18th, 2011, released first version for Windows Phone 7.
May 7th, 2012, released V8.3 for iPhone. This version introduced Localized Service and ThunderMode. It can automatically turn on ThunderMode, which pre-processes the web page through UCWeb's server, increasing compatibility with web pages not designed for mobile phones.
June 8th, 2012, V8.3 for Android released. This version introduced several user interface improvements and performance optimizations. Night Mode was added for better reading experience in the dark. This version also uses less RAM *space at startup.
June 30th, 2012, V2.2.0.0 for Windows Phone released. This version was a huge step up including Faster Download, Better Night mode, Smart auto-fill and Smooth Glide.
July 30th, 2012, V8.4 for iPhone was released. This version was a huge step up from V8.3 for iPhone with the addition of share to Evernote function after the announcement of the strategic partnership between UCWeb Inc. and Evernote.
August. 24th, 2012, V8.4 for Android was released. This version provided Android 4.1 Jelly Bean support, and introduced smart browsing in which the browser will auto detect the network connection. Under Wifi connection, the browser will directly connect to the website; under 3G or 2G connection, the browser will compress the website through UC cloud servers to bring faster loading time to users
