Quest Diane - Quest Dianne S60 3rd edition phones
Description:
She is a holiday girl, question and answer chatebot, full of interesting trivia, but you can talk to her too if you wish.
To play the trivia game, use the right selection of the central key for each new question. If you don't know the answer, use the left selection of the central key, and the answer will be displayed. However, if you know the three part answer to the question being shown, select the text input box and type in your answer.
Now use the left soft key, to see if you are right or wrong. But remember, there are three parts to every question being asked, so if you only input one or two parts, Anne will, quite rightly, say you have got it wrong!
To talk to Dianne and ask her a "yes" or "no" answer question, use the up selection on the central key. This will take you to a new dialogue page. Then, either by typing or speaking at the phone's screen – you will get an instant response from Dianne.
She can be your virtual friend, but remember, she speaks English only at this time. However, she can understand other languages, so if you prefer to ask her your 'yes' or 'no' answer question in your first language, please do so.
Select the input text box by using the central keys on the phone. Open the text pop up window by using the central enter key and add your message. Click OK and then press the ' Ask' soft key on the left.
Talk to Dianne verbally
You can either add a text question as described above, or can speak to her direct.
You switch the 'text input box' off to do this, by pressing the star key on your phone.
In this mode, you do not type, but speak to Dianne's image, either out loud or internally, in your own head. All you need to do is press the 'Ask' button, which is the left soft key, after forming your 'yes' or 'no' answer question.
Installing Flash Lite SWF content onto a handset
After you have unzipped the game on your PC, install Flash game on your phone, and place them in one of these folders;
Phone mem/Documents/Flash
Memory card/Documents/Flash
The flash player can look in either of these directories, so just transfer the file to one of them.
With Nokia phones, the Nokia PC Suite software creates a system folder for the phone, so you can browse through the phone memory just like you would any hard drive, and can just copy files over into these folders.
Transfer the Flash games swf to the device, using one of the following methods:
IR (infrared): If your PC and handset both support infrared, you can connect the device with the PC and transfer the file via IR.
Bluetooth: If your PC and handset both support Bluetooth, you can connect the device with the PC and transfer the file via Bluetooth.
Memory card: Using a memory card reader, you can transfer the file to the memory card for the phone.
USB: Most phone manufacturers supply a USB cable for synchronising the handset with a PC and transferring files.
