Skeletal System - (Original Series) - iPad edition - Ideal for students and anyone interested in the human body and how it works. It has been designed for users with anywhere from a basic to advanced level of anatomical medical knowledge. It is far more interactive than flash cards with several amazing features and has an interactive quiz section for testing your skeletal and ligament knowledge.
It can be used as a powerful reference tool that allows the user to quickly locate and identify an individual bone, bone part or ligament within the full skeleton.
HOW TO USE:
The user is presented with a high-quality anatomical model of the full skeleton. The user can zoom in to any area - by tapping on a region - tapping again will zoom in further - eventually the user will have zoomed into an individual bone or skeletal region. The user can then label the chosen section by pressing on the flags icon. Each label is in English and in Latin and by pressing on the 'i' icon the user can access additional information on a particular label. There is also a Magnification Mode that greatly magnifies a chosen section, allowing the user to more easily press on flags that are close together.
INDEX:
The application can also be used as a visual reference tool by using the index function. By selecting an English or Latin name from the index - the application will take the user to the relevant skeletal area and then highlight the chosen label.

VIEWS:
Throughout the app - even while zooming in - the user can choose from a number of different views, the normal anatomical views: anterior, lateral, posterior, medial and even inferior and superior where appropriate. There are even stylized views such as x-ray or skin. All of the views appear along the bottom of the screen.
QUIZ:
This is a fun testing tool where the user can test their knowledge - the user is asked which area they would like to be tested on - and then the application asks them to zoom in and identify parts of the skeleton. If after three attempts the user is unable to identify the bone part or ligament he/she can ask the app to show them.

· Fixed a bug that was causing a crash after pressing a flag. Please note - that this app requires at least iOS 4.2 to run correctly.
