Android Ruler - Menu info
The new Android Ruler added several functions such as Level Measure, Cross Vertical Measure, Vertical Measure and Distance Measurement.
We afford setting of any screen sizes in the setting menu, so that you can set the screen size and the program can recognize the dpi (dot percent inch ) automatically. The application will display the ruler based on the screen dpi and the screen size. You can test it with a real ruler and will find it is precise.
Select your screen size
You can select your screen size by clicking the setting button. It can adjust any screen size to your Android Phone. Click OK to finish adjusting the screen size.
Note: If you do not know the screen size, you may ask the manufacturer of your Android Phone to get it.
Basic Ruler
With this screen you will find a precise display of centimeters and inches on your Android Phone. You will have the ability to use the same scales on different machines with different pixels and different screen sizes.
Diagonal Ruler
To enlarge your ruler length, you can click the "Diagonal Ruler" button to achieve.
Basic Protractor
SuperRuler is not only a precise ruler, but it can also be used as a protractor with an angle domain of 0-180 degrees, with full screen mode available.
By using the stylus(you mean needle or mouse), you can dynamically measure angles. When you click the screen with the stylus, a red line indicates the direction from the center point. As shown in the image, the value shows the selected angle.
Level Measure
You can use this function to check that whether the floor is level or not when buying a new house.
Click Level Measure in the menu and you can find an emulational gradienter within a bubble on your phone screen. Put your phone on the surface of which you want to check and you can conclude the result by the bubble's shift.
One direction the bubble moved to indicated that side is higher than other sides. If the bubble moved to the center of the gradienter finally, that tells you the surface is extremely level.
Cross Vertical Measure
This function can assist you to hang wall pictures or other paintings upright. Click Cross Vertical Measure button to use this function. And you'll find a hint "Turn on the camera?"
If you choose NO, two mutually perpendicular reference lines help you to adjust paintings or others to upright. One line is always perpendicular to the ground and another one is always parallel to the ground no matter how your phone slopes.
If you choose YES, the phone's camera turns on and the picture camera catched will be displayed into the phone screen. It can help you to adjust angles intuitively.
Vertica l Measure
Vertical Measurement can helps you to check anthing vertical or not. Click Vertical Measure button to use this function. And you'll find a hint "Turn on the camera?"
If you choose NO, one emulational vertical appears and it's always perpendicular to the ground.
If you choose YES, the phone's camera turns on and the picture camera catched will be displayed into the phone screen. It can help you to observe angles intuitively.
Distanc e Measurement procedure
Step 1, Enter the height of one who measures.
Step 2, Please stand up straight. Align your eyes,cell phone, and object's bottom side in a straight line. Then click on the screen.
Step 3, Align your eyes,cell phone, and object's top side in a straight line.Then click on the screen again.
After the measuring procedure, results come out automatically. You can not only get the distance between you and the object, but also the height of object.
AndroidRul er supports all kinds of screen sizes, such as QVGA(320x240),HVGA(320x48 0),WVGA(480x800),WQVGA(24 0x400) and many other sizes.
