PhotoDroid is a photographers help tool.
The purpose is to help the photographer to take the perfect picture through values like the hyperfocal, the telescope limiting magnitude or the next moon rise (among others).
Within its capabilities, include:
- Calculation of optical functions (hyperfocal, depth of field …)
- Calculation of astro-optical functions (field of view, limiting magnitude…)
- Calculation of ephemerides (solar phases, moon phases …)
All of them are calculated through the camera model selection.
If some concepts are unknown by you, the same application has a help contents page and a Wiki redirection.
