You get added value by giving a possibility to achieve some active minutes in the morning. The pleasant wake up in the morning is decreasing the stress factors experienced by the human body, too.
A free trial is included for alarms closer than 30 minutes. With the trial functionality HappyWakeUp can be used to get a real power nap (see power nap in Wikipedia). Scientific experiments suggest that an average power-nap duration of around 15-30 minutes is most effective. Any more time, and the body enters into its usual sleep cycle. After this, waking up is difficult.

HappyWakeUp is based on the medical knowledge and research of human sleep stages. During the last morning hours sleep is fragmented and there are short periods of wakefulness. These are the optimal moments for your brain and body to wake up. HappyWakeUp is developed to detect them. It helps your body to learn the spontaneous accurate sleep - wake rhythm.
The detection of the awakening moments is based on statistical analysis of the microphone signals. The HappyWakeUp activation time can be set between 10 - 120 minutes before the alarm time.
How to use it
HappyWakeUp is always with you in your mobile phone and it is extremely easy to use: just set the mobile phone alarm and start HappyWakeUp. Then set the mobile phone beneath the pillow or beneath the bed linen near to the pillow. It also works on a bed side table, less than 50 cm (20") from the pillow. If HappyWakeUp is beneath the pillow you get an individual wake-up. A gentle alarm signal is enough because you already are awake or almost-awake!
The mobile phone is not sending any messages during night time and therefore it does not send any radiation to you.
With HappyWakeUp you support sustainable development - separate smart alarm devices are no longer needed.
