PSP homebrew developer wbb dropped by the QJ.NET Forums to announce a new update for the Modo ultra simple mod player application. The latest build for wbb's application carries an updated list of formats, and is now capable of playing several new files, aside from now carrying multi-playlist support:
*SPC (Snes)
* GYM & VGMz (Sega Master System / Sega Genesis aka Mega Drive / some derivats)
* GBS (Gameboy)
* NSF & NSFe (Nes)
* AY (Spectrum / Amstrad CPC)
* SAP (Atari XL)
* Mini-Playlist support, choose which subsongs you want hear for a multisong file (sid, nsf, ay etc.). Please see Readme.txt for details.
wbb explained that the increased support was due to embedding Blarggs' Game Music Emulation library. As a recap, users are reminded that Modo also supports the 669, IT, MED, MOD, MTM, S3M, STM and XM module formats. Users interested in picking up full details for Modo are advised to check the included file readme, and wbb's release thread over at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forums.
