Joek2100 is back with another update for his 2.71 SEB'' irsmp3 module. According to joek2100, this release - module v.04 - will brobably be the final release except for bug fixes and updates for bewer versions of open edition firmwares.
On to the nitty. The 2.71 SE-B'' irsmp3 module is a modified version of the opensource mp3 prx for IRShell. It lets you play mp3 files from ms0:/PSP/MUSIC (you can listen to your own mp3s while playing some GTA, for example), and it also has random and sequential play modes, pause, next and a builtin "overclocker".
You will need to install the irsmp3.prx plugin found in the seplugins directory in the zip. If you're not sure how to install it, check out this QJ forum thread. According to joek2100, you can also copy the seplugins directory to the root of your memory stick if you don't have any other plugins installed.
Don't forget to check the readme file included in the download before you install this plugin. If you have any questions or comments regarding this release, don't hesitate to head on over to the QJ forum release thread for 2.71 SE-B'' irsmp3 module v0.4 by clicking on the 'discuss' link below.

Ok, I've never really been a fan of soundboards, but there's always an exception - especially if it involves Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger". Here's a homebrew soundboard of the song for the PSP.
It's done by Miles, based on the online Flash version (see iDaft) which I've been tripping on for the past couple of weeks

I got bored and wanted to make a little app that would allow people to make soundboards for the PSP. It is not the best coding I have done, but it gets the job done.

According to joek2100, he'll be looking into overclocking for the next release

Hi Guys,
This one should be a lot better to use than the first rather premature release.
