AuroraWatch is a free service run by Lancaster University, indicating the likelyhood of an auroal sighting from within the UK. The AuroraWatch app allows you to have this data at your fingertips on your Windows Phone.
Future versions will improve functionality, but the app currently allows you to:
- monitor the UK's geomagnetic activity in real-time
- see how likely an auroral sighting is
- learn a few basic FAQs
- report any sightings (through webpage)
