Pocket Tangrams is a world famous Chinese puzzle game. It consists of seven simple geometric shapes that can be rearranged into innumerable figures. The rule is very simple: recreate the target figure using all seven pieces without any overlap.
It is an excellent game for killing dull time on a long journey or when you are waiting. It is also a very good game for children in elementary school to learn about geometry.
Pocket Tangrams can provide you hours of entertainment. You can play it anywhere and anytime with your Pocket PC device. Comparing with real Tangrams game set, you don't have to worry about a piece is lost, or there is no board to put the pieces on.
Pocket Tangrams features:

How to play
For every figure to be solved, the target figure is shown at the center of the screen, while the seven pieces are located at four corners. You can use three kinds of actions to manipulate the pieces: move, rotate and flip.
Rotate
Click any corner of the piece that you want to rotate, a circle and radius will appear. Drag the radius line and the piece will rotate around its center accordingly.
Move
Click anywhere (except corner) of the piece that you want to move, then drag the piece to anywhere on the screen.
Flip parallelogram piece
For the parallelogram piece, you can use "Flip" action to turn it around to the other side. To do this, just double click the parallelogram piece. You will see that piece turn around slowly.
Get hint
If you really don't have any idea how to solve the current figure, you can use this action to get a hint how to solve. Just click the button on the toolbar, you will see a hinted piece shown on the figure. Click this button again will show another hint piece.
Select figure
You can use three methods to select a figure to solve:
- Click the button to move to previous figure.
- Click theimg width="15" height="14" src="http://www.uiexpert.com/tangram/Next.gif" alt="" /> button to move to next figure.
- Click the button to bring up a "Figure Selection" dialog box to browse and select figure.
Figures are organized into groups for easy retrieval, for example, "Animal", "Alpha", etc. In the "Figure selection" dialog box, you can select a group by selecting one in the drop down list box, or you can move to the previous or next group by clicking the Left and Right arrow in the right-top corner of the dialog box.
