Blood Pressure Control Assistant is a computer program that allows its users to keep record of their blood pressure levels, providing a useful help for hypertension control, follow-up and prevention.
Hypertension increases the risk of developing many fatal diseases like heart failure, heart attack, stroke (brain damage), kidney disease and eye damage. That happens because the victims of chronic hypertension were not aware of their condition, as hypertension doesn't show any signs or symptoms at an early stage, that's why it is so important to start tracking your blood pressure now !
BPCA is ideal for both patients and doctors; it's intuitive graphical interface makes it easier to enter and view blood pressure readings; it also alerts the user of their hypertension stage (prehypertension, hypertension stage 1 or hypertension stage 2) according to JNC 7, the latest report of the Joint National Committee on Prevention, Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Pressure.
Blood Pressure Control Assistant comes with a desktop PC companion program that can be very useful for either backup your records at home, and/or directly synchronize the data with your doctor or health care provider for better blood pressure tracking. The desktop companion also allows the user to print reports of your records or export records to .doc (MS Word), .xls (MS Excel) and .pdf file formats.
