SMSLocationFrog sends the GPS coordinates of your location to a mobile number using SMS. Automatically updates your location when you are on the go. You may select the mobile number from your contacts or type in directly. Send the SMS using the menu or set the options to send the SMS automatically.
This handy program is simple to use and easy to setup. Use it to send an SMS to yourself, your family or any one in your contact list. Take it along when you are hiking or travelling. Let others know where you are or use it to track your trip. If you see a place you like, send yourself an SMS or share the location with somebody else. Opportunities are unlimited. Works with internal or external GPS in any GPS enabled Windows mobile 5.0 (or above) device. No configuration is needed and works with the GPS program port of your device.
SMS Subscription is necessary. Some carriers may lock the GPS device for exclusive usage. In such cases unlock may be required.
Version 2.1 offers on demand GPS SMS. A mobile phone can send an SMS command, with an access code to the PDA running SMSLocationFrog and get its current location in an SMS message.
When tracking is enabled, SMSLocationFrog creates a comma separated file (CSV), one for each day. It records the time, latitude and longitude of the location as comma separated fields. This file is indented to be read by a desktop application like Microsoft Excel, for further analysis.
Try it free. The Demo version never expires. You may restart the program to reset the message counter in the demo version to continue using it as long as you like. For unrestricted messaging, upgrade to paid version.
