This software is for the golfer who would like to improve his/her game by improving one of the most crucial elements of the entire game: consistency. Golf Ranger was developed to help you get an accurate and reliable average yardage on the clubs you use so that the next time you're "between clubs" you can make the decision backed with a little statistical evidence and a lot more confidence. Confidence and consistency ... Now that's a killer combination in golf.
This program isn't for Tiger Woods or Arnold Palmer who could probably tell you their current average yardage on a 5 iron to within feet. This program is for the amateur golfer who looks to improve his/her game in an efficient and time saving manner.
It just takes a few easy steps to have this information in the palm of your hand:
1. Take Golf Ranger to the driving range with you.
2. Hit 10 honest shots with any club you've entered (by honest I mean forget the shanks into the clubhouse and the power drives with the pitching wedge).
3. Calculate your average yardage with each club on a certain date with Golf Ranger.
4. Use that information to improve your practice, your rounds, and your shot judgment.
That's it, folks.
When developing this software I wanted to keep it as simple as possible so that the amateur golfer could quickly develop an idea of the shots he needs to make during a round. I'm by no means a great golfer, but I've used Golf Ranger and it helps me. Not only does it help me better understand my game, but it helps me better understand how accuracy, club selection, and shot making can improve over time with focused and organized practice. I truly believe that Golf Ranger will help you become a better golfer.
