HoldSync allows you to HotSync by holding one of your hardware buttons.
Enabled by default, it can't get any easier than that:
Hold first hardware button for 8/10 of a second and release to HotSync.
(You'll hear a confirmation sound after holding the button long enough) Disable by clearing the "Hold..." check-box, or change the button and the hold period to your liking.
Best of all, you won't lose a precious button for this:
Pressing the button shortly, does the default action for that button.
Holding the button when device is unplugged, should do nothing at all.

SoloSync SoloSync - Tired of manually launching HotSync every time you plug your cable in? Let your palm sync itself!
SoloSync automatically performs a HotSync operation every time you put it in a cradle or connect a cable, no hands required! It also can lock your device after a sync. Very useful if you like to put your palm in a cradle and forget about it
SyncAll SyncAll - Most people think the HotSync will save the whole data contained on the Palm and this is enough to restore it after a power failure or other cause for data loss.
But the normal HotSync only saves the databases (all data/app is is internaly stored in databases) that has the so called "backup-bit" set
File Uploader File Uploader is a solution to store any PC files on Palm. Forget floppies, CD-RW, or any type of storage device. Just drag the files on Windows application provided and sync your Palm. Now, just connect the Palm on destination computer, sync again, and you have your files
OneTapSync OneTapSync is a FREEWARE application that starts a (Local or Modem/Network) HotSync with only one tap
KsToDo KsToDo is a replacement for built-in ToDo of Palm OS.
While keeping basic appearance and operation of built-in ToDo, it has some advantages if you use it with KsDatebook.
Since KsToDo uses the same database as built-in ToDo, you can still use the data that already exists, while the data inputted through KsToDo can be shown/editable in Palm Desktop on your PC by HotSync
GyanSinc GyanSinc - I have been the IT Director of several different international organizations during the past decade. In all cases the employees of the organizations used Palm handheld devices but could not share their contact information because we did not use Microsoft products
SyncUs SyncUs - This Windows program lets you share/sync information between 2 or more Palm handhelds. It shows you the calendar/address/todo/memo items that are different on 2 handhelds, and lets you transfer any of these items to the other at the click of a button. It is ideal for partners to share dates and addresses when they both sync to the same PC
PdaReach Ever dream of controlling your Palm Handheld directly from your PC? With PdaReach now it is possible! All you need to do is just connect your PDA to your PC with the HotSync cable, and PdaReach will take care of the rest to bring you the what-you-see is-what-you-get experience live on the PC monitor
Syncer Syncer initiates a hotsync automatically each day at a specified time.
A different time can be specified for each day of the week.
All of the times can be set to the same value by using the "SET ALL" button on the right edge of the screen.
Syncer can be temporarily disabled by un-checking the checkbox

BacklightDAs BacklightDAs - instead of draining your battery because you THOUGHT you've turned off the backlight under that strong sunlight (and honestly, who can tell?) - download these DAs today!
You'll need a DA launcher to see and run these DAs once installed
pTunesDA pTunesDA - displays the console window of Pocket Tunes if it's running in background & launches app if not.
(pTunes already has its own user-friendly means to show this console window, but users wanted DA...;)
pTunes/Pocket-Tunes is copyright of NormSoft, Inc
BrightnessDAs BrightnessDAs - with a stroke of your finger (depends on the DA launcher you're using and the options you choose to invoke my DAs) your could quickly choose between minimum brightness (great for reading at night), low (~20%, for battery-conscious users ;), medium (50%, should be enough for most situations) or maximum (100%. The range above 50% up to 100% is superfluous)
LensWarning LensWarning - Tested under TH55 only - may work for others too.
LensWarning will remind you to cover the lens of your CLIE(R) device before running non-camera apps, or at power-off/on (configurable).
The warning is by LED and optionally a sound, and won't interfere with other programs or power off
FindPrivate FindPrivate - If you're using the 'Find' on your PalmOS device, and if you also hide/mask private records, you may miss some search results that you'd like to see.
Not always you may remember to show private records prior to 'Find', and even if you do - it's a little bit cumbersome when you need your data fast
PowerBright PowerBright allows you to toggle your brightness from maximum to minimum by holding the 'Power' button for a configured time.
You may also hold the Page-Down/Up buttons too, to adjust the brightness down/up respectively - the step value and treshold are configurable for your convenience
SafeRecs SafeRecs can either mask or hide your private records:
At power-off: If shown, private records will be made safe, and 'Security' will be launched (see Q&A).
Before 'normal' launching of applications under OS5+
When tapping the 'Find' silk-screen button (asks for password to continue, OS5+)
AutoOffExtender AutoOffExtender - AutoOff is when your device shuts itself off automatically after a specified period of user-inactivity, in order to conserve battery power.
AutoOffExtender can detect when your device is powered on after being off for less than a few seconds, and extend the auto-off time for that session, assuming you need more time to watch the screen with no action
