Elementary Words or eWords are based on Edward Dolch's 220 site words. These words are many of the common words found in children's books and are not easily sounded out. For this reason, these words are usually taught as "site words" in pre-school through the third grade. This provides the children with a foundation for reading and in many cases the school system measures the Child's learning aptitude by this as well. Having these convenient flash cards available for your child can help them learn to read faster and more efficiently. Practice with your child while waiting for dinner or in line at the grocery store, there is always a good time to learn. The flash cards are displayed in a modern low contrast color scheme allowing for hours of fun, family study time. As your child masters the current grade level, you can select the next grade which adds more words. As words are added the previous set of words are used as well. This allows the child to have new words but still have the familiarity of the set they just mastered. eWords are also a great way to learn English as a second language. As a parent myself I want to give my child every advantage possible that is why I created eWords. They love when I bring out my PDA and want to show how many words they know.
