Satellites of the Solar System - This is Smartlist To Go (formerly ThinkDB) database contain a listing of the satellites of the 9 major planets and those found around asteroids and minor planets.
This database is complete free and will remain so for all future updates.
To use this database, select a primary (a planet or MP, a category for minor planet satellites) from the views drop down menu (the leftmost drop down menu underneath the "Moons" title).
Then select the entry for the satellite you wish to obtain more information for.
Each entry has the following information split into three tabs:
Orbital data:
Semi-major Axis (distance from center of primary)
Period (time it takes to complete one orbit)
E (Eccentricity, represents shape of the orbit)
I (Inclination, represents tilt of orbit with respect to the equator of the primary)
Physical data:
Diameter (size of the satellite)
Type (represents basic composition and size of body)
Notes (a short description of the satellite as well as other possibly useful data)
Discovery Data:
Discovery Year
Discoverer
Fields that I would like to add in the next update or two include albedo and density.

AI (Astro Info) provides comprehensive data on objects in our solar system as well as catalogues of all types of interstellar objects.
This makes AI an invaluable tool for planning and observing with handy features such as showing objects currently above the horizon
Astromist (Palm OS) Astromist (Palm OS) - Astronomy tool to easily locate and compute position of stars (up to 2.5 million),planets or sky objects (18200 included) of most well known catalogs
It provides powerfull sky chart to easily find objects, Hipparchos and Tycho stellar catalog, objects photos, moon phases calendar to plan your observation session, many sky objects (more than 18200)
Astro Compass (Palm OS) Astro Compass (Palm OS) - The program allows to use the Palm like a real Compass.
Put yourself in front to any celestial object of solar system (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) or 28 bright stars (Sirius, Vega and so on): the program calculates its position on heavenly vault and then it will display a Compass
Planet 2000 Planet 2000 - The program Planet 2000 allows to calculate the position of the solar system bodies, from Mercury up to Saturn. It also calculates the Sun and the Moon position. The program gives the celestial coordinates (Right ascension and Declination) and the coordinates of the celestial body respect on the observer (topocentric coordinates Azimuth and Altitude)
Sol System Sol System is a program designed to show the position and orbit for all the planets in the Sol system (Sol being the name of our star). This kind of display is sometimes called an orrery and is useful in seeing planetary alignment for various dates.
· Main screen displays as many planets as you wish at varying zoom levels
Navigate Navigate is a Palm OS program for computing the range and bearing between any two points on the Earth's surface OR the end location given a starting location, range and bearing.
It will compute these solutions for either lines of constant bearing (loxodromes or rhumb lines) or the shortest possible path on the Earth (geodesics or great circle routes)
P-Moontool P-Moontool - Shows the current phase of the Moon.
The accuracy depends on the Time Zone you are in.
Make sure you set it correct.
The grayscale modes are available only on PalmOS 3.5 or above.
Shows the dates for the 4 phases of the Moon (next event is underlined.) taping on a date brings up a dialog showing the time as well you can jump to any date you choose
