Create the most secure type of passwords. Generate random passwords with or without upper case/lower case and additional characters such as numbers and punctuation signs. Passwords are created and available to be copy-pasted to your favorite Windows Mobile applications.
Password Generator will let you choose between any combination of character groups (upper case characters, lower case characters, numbers and symbols). Choose to combine all four groups for the safest passwords. Once you have chosen the group combination, you can create passwords as many times as you want. Each time you click on it, the application will create a new random password for you.
Once you get the password you like, you simply need to start using it. Since the application will create completely random passwords, it is unlikely that the application will repeat the password again.
Tap the up/down buttons to increase/decrease the number of characters that the resulting password will be in length. You can also tap in the field and use your keypad, keyboard or on-screen-keyboard of your device. This field allows only numbers.
Tap on the Upper Case Characters checkbox in order to select this group of characters into the pool of characters from which to randomly generate the password. There are no restrictions to what groups to choose or not, that constraint will probably be given to you by your Company's IT department.
Tap on the Lower Case Characters checkbox in order to select this group of characters into the pool of characters from which to randomly generate the password. There are no restrictions to what groups to choose or not, that constraint will probably be given to you by your Company's IT department.
Tap on the Numbers checkbox in order to select this group of characters into the pool of characters from which to randomly generate the password. There are no restrictions to what groups to choose or not, that constraint will probably be given to you by your Company's IT department.
Tap on the Symbols checkbox in order to select this group of characters into the pool of characters from which to randomly generate the password. There are no restrictions to what groups to choose or not, that constraint will probably be given to you by your Company's IT department.
Once you selected all the groups of characters that you want to use for randomly creating your password, you just need to tap on the "Calculate" menu. The application will generate a random sequence of characters that will have the length you specified in the first step. You can keep tapping in the "Calculate" menu until you are comfortable with the result. Since the character combination is completely random, you may end up with a password that does not have a group even though you selected it. Another possible scenario is the occurrence of the same character upper cased and lower cased. Even though these cases are rare, there are multiple scenarios that may yield a result you may not be able to use (such as being required to have at lease one character of a certain type). For these cases you just tap again to calculate a new random password.
Once you have a suitable password, you can double-tap on the password and copy-paste it so that you can use it in an application or you can store it in a safe place such as an application to store passwords. Just remember that the password method is secure as long as only you know the password and no one has access to the place where you stored the password in case you forgot it. By the same token, if you forget the password and have no access to a password store or have not saved the password in a safe application, then no one (not even you) will be able to access your secured environment.
