Pocket KanaBuddy for Pocket PCs (SH3) - After putting out my first program, Pocket AminoBuddy, one of the users suggested that the Buddy system might be useful for other things. This is my first attempt at "branching out". This program will help you memorize the Japanese hiragana and katakana characters and give you a chance to drill yourself. You can go through the characters sequentially, or use the random button to test your skill. One thing of note: please be sure to read the README.TXT file included the zip archive. There are two font files, hiragana.ttf and katakana.ttf that will need to be moved from the program directory on your Pocket PC to the WindowsFonts directory on your Pocket PC. If you don't, then the kana won't show up and you'll get meaningless gibberish on the screen. It's really simpler to do than it sounds, and details are in the readme file. Online help for the program can be found under Help -> Info. The program is fairly straightforward, though, so hopefully you can just jump right in.
