WMD-NextApps is an enhanced NextAppointment widget. It shows a single appointment at a time, but via arrow keys, you can go back and forward through all appointments for the next 4 days. An active appointment will be displayed in green. You can switch to another day by clicking on the day on the top of the widget. By clicking on the date, the calendar application is opened (by default this is Pocket Outlook, but you can configure the application via the settings file).
The widget's fonts, background and arrows can be skinned. There are a couple of extra backgrounds next in the default skin folder, a.o. for the Nexus One theme. To change a background, edit the settings.txt file in the skin's folder and set the image name in background parameter (e.g. background=background nexus one.png). This way it's easy to adapt the background to your Androkkid background or theme without creating a new skin.
You can also modify the update frequency; by default, the widget will update the appointments list every 5 minutes.
