ShortCAD is a free application for Pocket PC that reveals the simplicity of well known CAD products just onto the palm of your hand! ShortCAD brings basic concepts of drawing creation to your Windows Mobile system.
With ShortCAD you can create and edit 2D vector-graphic drawings and templates just as you do in well known CAD applications. ShortCAD drawings are usually saved as .shortCAD files, but you can also save them in .dxf format so you can export your drawings from PDA to other PC vector-graphic editors.
While your Pocket PC is small and slow, all of the "huge CAD" features of ShortCAD have been reworked to make them accessible and usable without mouse and keyboard.
You may ask why is ShortCAD. Here is an answer! ShortCAD is a pun on shortcut that means shorter route or smaller effort. Also it has a specific meaning: a file that contains only the location of another file in the computer. Gathering all meanings together will give you the answer: ShortCAD is a way to CAD and save hints and tips to your ideas with smallest effort while you are away from your workspace.

NoteEmailers NoteEmailers allows you to convert drawing/text notes on your PocketPC into customized JPEG images and send them via email. Use the file explorer to browse the storage folders of your PocketPC for note files. Tap on the note file to convert it to a JPEG image and send as an email attachment. The JPEG libraries are from Independent JPEG Group
PDFJPGFiles PDFJPGFiles - PDFJPGFiles converts a single JPEG file into a PDF file. Tap the button to open the dialog to select the JPEG file to convert. The program will then convert the JPEG file into a PDF V1.0 file. You can also preview the PDF file. The PDF libraries are from JPEG2PDF by Hao Hu 2008
IMAGtoDate You’ll probably hate the way Camera application saves the image file, which was “IMAG####.jpg”. This kind of naming will cause a problem when backing up the image files in your PC/MAC specially when the file already exists in your backup drive but different picture, the only thing you could do is to rename the file in your mobile device
TextJPEGer TextJPEGer allows you enter or paste text into a text box editor that allows custom font style/width and colour settings and converts the text box into a JPEG image. Select 'Text/Drawing' to switch from text/drawing modes. The program also has drawing tools to customize the image
GraphBitmaping GraphBitmaping allows you to chart up to 3 types of readings and converts the readings into a 3 plane line graph that you can save in 256, 16 or 2 bit bitmap format. Enter the reading types and reading levels and select 'Graph' from the report bar to create a graph. You can also draw on the graph before saving
DrawingNumberer DrawingNumberer allows you to create 'numbered' JPEG drawings with custom compression. You can browse the storage card of your PocketPC and create a new JPEG image. You can also edit the older images. The JPEG libraries are from Independent JPEG Group
DrawingSyncer DrawingSyncer allows you to create and share categorized JPEG drawings on the public/private folders of a secure remote FTP server. You can create category folders and place create/view and edit the JPEG drawings on the remote server. The JPEG libraries are from Independent JPEG Group
ImagedCameraGPS ImagedCameraGPS - ImagedCameraGPS allows you to add timestamps and location information to photos captured with your phone's camera.
Before taking a photo, you can set the resolution of the image. When you shoot a picture, the app will add the current date and GPS coordinates to the image, and save the photo in the current folder
PictureThumber PictureThumber checks the storage folder for your PocketPC camera for JPEG pictures and when a new picture is detected compresses/colourizes it to the JPEG settings and places the new created image in the PictureThumber folder
