Screen Off - This application simply turns off the screen on the device, without putting it to sleep. Can be useful to save battery life when connecting the device to the PC or when running an application that doesn't need the display (like an audio player).
Tested on HTC Touch HD with WM 6.1 and 6.5.3.
It DOES NOT require .NET Compact Framework. Just install the cab and launch the shortcut from Programs.

GfxBoost GfxBoost - activates "QTV" mode for specific surfaces. This makes for example DirectDraw display smoother and: a bit slower or significantly faster, depending on how you look at it. It also seems to have a small effect on Direct3D/OpenGL.
This is a bit tricky! If you will benchmark it the result will be lower FPS. However, it will actually appear faster

So if game or program don't work in wide mode you can try it in normal VGA/QVGA mode. Probably it will work
