Pocket Plan is a Microsoft Project compatible project planning application for the Pocket PC and Handheld PC.
Pocket Plan fulfils a similar role to PC based project planning software such as Microsoft Project. The unique feature with Plan is that you can keep your project plans in your pocket and update them wherever you are! No longer are you tied to your PC - take your project plans with you in your pocket and update them on the move! Avoid having to carry around a heavy laptop or having to wait for it to boot into Windows.
With Pocket Plan you have instant access to your project plan and you can react instantly when asked "what effect will this change have on the end date of your project?"
Key features include:
Enter resource information such as working hours and holidays
Enter task information, including the estimated "work" effort required
Create dependencies between tasks, such that one task starts after another finishes
Pocket Plan will calculate each tasks duration as well as the whole project taking into consideration dependencies, working hours and holidays
Change one task, and see all other effected tasks recalculated automatically
View tasks using a "Gantt chart"
View the estimated cost of the project
Track progress as the project gets underway
Seamless interface with Microsoft Project using ActiveSync

Pocket Plan is a fully usable project planning tool in its own right, providing all the essential features you would expect to find in a PC based planning tool. Pocket Plan can be used as a stand-alone tool, but can also be used along side Microsoft Project on the PC. Microsoft Project files on the PC may be synchronized with Pocket Plan files on you Pocket PC via ActiveSync. Two-way synchronization is supported allowing plans to be edited and recalculated on either device with subsequence re-synchronisation.
