BacklightTimer powers off your PocketPC display for a set time interval. Select the hours/minutes and tap the button to power off your PocketPC display. Once the timer has finished the program will turn on the display. NOTE: You can also press the 'On' button on your device to power on the display.

Screen Off Screen Off - This application simply turns off the screen on the device, without putting it to sleep. Can be useful to save battery life when connecting the device to the PC or when running an application that doesn't need the display (like an audio player).
Tested on HTC Touch HD with WM 6.1 and 6.5.3.

PLToggle PLToggle is a small app that toggles the display orientation back and forth to the rotation of your choice, without the need for the g-sensor.
The default installation includes the settings screen (available from your start menu), and the application itself, which is available via a long-hold of the call button
AutoLight AutoLight - HTC Topaz (Diamond 2) auto adjust backlight function is a good idea with a not very good implementation. It must be said to HTC excuse that the light sensor is very noisy, especially at low light conditions.
Some alternatives do exist but are not very good or are Compact Framework application (not a very good idea for background application)
