Webtextr - Send free webtexts from your Windows Phone.
Webtextr allows you to use the free webtexts provided to you by your Irish mobile phone network in a convenient app.
This app is for customers of Irish mobile phone networks only. The following networks are supported: Meteor, O2, Vodafone, Three and Eircom/eMobile.
To use this app, simply enter your webtext login credentials on the settings screen and specify which network you are a customer of. Then you can start sending SMS messages straight away. Once you've sent a text, you'll be shown how many webtexts remain in your account.
This app sends messages via open source third party sending scripts. These are located at cabbagetexter.com, and this app is configured to use that site to send texts by default. This approach allows the server-side scripts to be modified quickly if service providers change their websites; this app does not have to updated. If preferred, you may host the scripts yourself elsewhere, then configure the app to point to your own server.
