Atif Aslam (Urdu: عاطف اسلم; born in Wazirabad, Gujranwala District, Punjab, Pakistan as Muhammad Atif Aslam) is a Pakistani pop singer and film actor. His debut as an actor was in the 2011 film Pakistani movie Bol. He has generated numerous chart-topping songs, and is known for his vocal belting technique. Atif is a recipient for the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan's highest civilian decorations. He was also awarded with Brandlaureate International Brand Personality Award in Malaysia for his contributions towards enhancement of the well being of society.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (born 1974) (Urdu: راحت فتح علی خان) is a Pakistani singer, primarily of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis. He is the nephew of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. In addition to Qawwali, he also performs ghazals and other light music. He is popular as a Bollywood playback singer.
