  TIFF Tron

In the wake of our earlier TIFF Pong update comes TIFF Tron. Coder elad_thc says he hit a dead end in the process of porting something over to the TIFF SDK, so he made this Tron clone instead.

This game is all about an old-school Tron match. The goal here is to force your opponent to crash into the walls or your own light trail, just like in the 1982 movie of the same name.

To install it, extract the .zip file to your PSP mem stick's 'PHOTO' folder. So far, TIFF Tron has been tested on firmware versions 2.60 and 2.80, and elad_thc says it should work for everything from 2.00 to 2.80. We ourselves played Tron on firmware 2.7.

Kudos to elad_thc for an enjoyable and nostalgic game, and to PSPHacker01 for pointing us towards it.

Laserix 2- I really wanted to play Laserix 2 again on my 5.00 M33 slim -- Its one of my favorite homebrew games ever on the PSP. So I did a quick port of Laserix 2 to PGE (Pheonix Game Engine) the past few days. Since the game was implemented originally in Lua, this was not too difficult. It should run fine on all custom firmwares, greater than 3.xx phat or slim
