Sonicadvance1 from our forum has released a very interesting program for the PSP - Project 3. This is a port of the SDL version of the falling sand. You will see sand in 3 different colors falling from the top of the screen after started the program. And your task is to draw on the screen with the cursor. You can draw whatever you want on the screen and see how it influences the flow of the sand. I even made a small sandglass when playing with it - it's pretty addictive! Here are the controls:
Analog: Move the cursor (a tiny red dot)
L: Decrease brush size
R: Increase brush size
X: Paint with the current color
Square: Cycle among wall/eraser/brown sand/blue sand

We've got good news coming for the guys who've got a taste for doodling on the go. Developer Gefa visited the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announced that PaintMIXER has been updated to version 2.4.0.
In case you weren't around during the previous release, this homebrew app enables you to draw and paint on your PSP using an interface very similar to MSPaint
