Our QJ PSP Development Forums plays witness yet again to another update on Modo, homebrew developer wbb's "ultra simple mod player." Clocking in at a tiny size of 600 KB, this couldn't get any easier to use. Modo supports 669, IT, MED, MOD, MTM, S3M, STM and XM module formats, and the August 12 update has the following changes:
* improved playback, especially MED
* added Pause function, press 'Select' to (un)pause module
* problem with directory browser fixed (showing ".." not always on top)
* fixed problem with sleep timer (after suspend it was not possible to use it again)
* mod files are no longer checked by their extensions in the directory browser. Instead they are scanned for a valid format. That means you do not have to rename your mod files. If you have one like "MOD.my_old_amiga_tun e", you can simply put it in a directory and it will be recognized by the player.
* added 222Mhz and a second 166Mhz mode (see readme for details)
* removed fadeout at end of song
Make sure you check out the readme - the author has appended some extra information into the document. If you have encountered any bugs or might have suggestions, you may contact wbb and give him your feedback.

It's been a while since we had a mod player released 'round here. It seems that homebrew developer wbb noticed the same and that's why he came up with an ultra simple version known as Modo. The application is compatible with 669, IT, MED, MOD, MTM, S3M, STM and XM module format.
Being an initial release, wbb noted that the progeam has certain limitations

Some of the programs we report about here at PSPUpdates are kind of obscure and meant for a specific niche in the homebrew community. ONScripter by Mr. Shiikuru is one of those programs. This piece of homebrew is an Nscript interpreter allowing you to play audio-graphic novels on your PSP. In this most recent release, I think that Mr
