Parrot has a solution for you: his DSPalConvert v0.2. DSPalConvert is a palette conversion tool where DS Palettes are turned to an unsigned short array.
If you came across previous versions, this latest release has already fixed a major bug where palettes are not converted properly. V0.2 now has a PPC Mac CLI Version.
