Homebrew developer Big Bang Theory has dropped us a line announcing the release of version 1.4 of the Wii Brew SD Installer. This app is a gateway for Wii owners to start running homebrew and playing DVDs on their Wii consoles.
For version 1.4, Big Bang Theory has included updates for the homebrew browser and new DVDX files to allow DVD playback. Here's the complete changelog:
* Updated Homebrew Browser (v0.2.1b)
* Added DVDX installer app
* Added mplayer (Team Twiizers Edition) to play DVD's from the Wii
