If you're a fan of the Naruto manga, anime, and video games, you might like this release. Homebrew developer lmtlmt dropped by the QJ Forums to announce a new homebrew game called Naruto: Sasuke's Betrayal 0.1.
This release, version 1.0, is actually a public beta or a demo of things to come in lmtlmt's newest project. The dev indicated that this release currently sports a tutorial level, and animation is still limited as only Naruto can move. Anyway, it's still the beta version right?
Here are the controls:
* Walk left and right: D-pad
* Run (only right at the moment): R1
* Punch: cross
* Throw weapon: Circle
All you need to do to try Naruto: Sasuke's Betrayal 1.0 is copy the Naruto and Naruto% folders into your Game folder. The dev also mentioned the planned additions to the hombrew game which includes more levels and enemy animation. Anyway, we've seen a couple of Naruto homebrew games in the past, though it really wouldn't hurt to try another one, right? Enjoy!
