Pocket Distance Calculator:
This tool includes a database of total of 1150+ world city coordinates in latitudes and longitudes. You can select any two cities from the combo boxes. Distance and the direction between these cities are calculated and displayed automatically.
In distance computation a very accurate ellipsoidal distance algorithm is used instead of inaccurate methods like great circle etc.
Distances are given in both kms and miles. Angle of direction is also given in degrees. Besides you can overwrite and enter any coordinates you wish and calculate the distance and the direction between any two points on the earth.
