What all can you do with Emergency Manager?
Emergency Services Dialer:
Users can dial the emergency service numbers (Police, Fire and Medical) which appears on the application main screen based on the country the user is in presently; it supports emergency service contacts for over 200 countries. Users can make most of this feature when they are in an emergency situation in foreign countries.
SMS Alerts:
The user's current location, is sent as an SMS (supports multipart message) along with a Google Maps URL of the location and request for help to multiple contacts (Full version) and single contact (Trial Version)
Email Alerts:
The user can also alert his friends on an emergency situation through Email. This app uses pre-installed email client of the phone. The app can send email alerts to multiple contacts (full version)
Alerts via Facebook and Twitter:
With the widespread popularity and enormous out reach of the social-networking media, help at hand can be easily available in emergency situations now. It can post to your facebook wall and tweet on your behalf requesting help with your location and the Google Map URL so that help can be received from your currently online friends and followers. Alert via Twitter feature is available in the full version
Power Button as wildcard key (experimental):
The SMS and Email Alerts can be also sent by keeping the POWER button pressed for 3secs in case of emergency. This is an experimental feature available only in full version
Location via both GPS and Wireless Networks:
This app gets the user's current location via both Wireless Networks and GPS depending on the availability
Other Features:
Share the alert message using pre-installed apps on your phone like Buzz, MySpace, and Yahoo.etc, (available only on full version)
Customize your emergency alert message (available only in full version)
Multilingual Support:
The app has multilingual support for 10 languages at present including some of the most important international languages
