Eplixo Video SMS - This is a fully operational upgrade to the normal phone SMS messaging system and includes the ability to send low cost SMS to friends abroad.
Multi user Video Conference
Video and Audio VoIP using SMS invitations are included in the application. This is a variation of the multi user Video Conference system provided on the Eplixo website.
Essentially you can send invitations of up to 5 others by email and SMS. WinMo owners can join you. Emails sent to those without WinMo phones click the link in an email they receive to immediately join the Video/Audio conference.
Sending International SMS and SMS video invitations are optional. It can be used as an alternative to your existing phone messaging service and filing system is extremely easy to use.
NOTES:
• Currently the application sends and receives Audio.
• Video is received from those who are using webcam on their laptop or PC
• QoS is subject to bandwidth so good quality 3G or preferably WiFi is better
• Sending International SMS are optional
• Sending SMS Video invitations are optional as they will be sent via email if no credit is available
• Credit can be purchased within the application via Paypal
• International SMS are charged at $0.14c
• Video invitations sent via SMS are also charged at $0.14c each (optional)
• Video conference calls terminate after 1 hour so $0.14c per hour video from your phone is not expensive
