MobiForms (Google Android) is the first rapid application development tool in the world specifically designed for Android smartphones. MobiForms offers all the tools in one "box" for the creation and deployment of any type of mobile application - from surveys to field service, from signature capture to bar coding. Inexpensive solutions can be built and deployed in minutes instead of days with the intuitive MobiForms graphical drag and drop interface.
Up until now developing for Android required in depth professional programming skills with mandatory learning of Java, the Eclipse IDE (Integrated Development Environment) and the Android SDK (Software Development Kit). MobiForms replaces all of these tools with one simple, intuitive, drag and drop interface. No Java or XML programming is required.
MobiForms now makes it possible for novice or experienced programmers alike to quickly create mobile business applications for Android smartphones. Additionally, the same app can be run on other platforms like Windows Mobile.
MobiForms for Android supports JDBC database connectivity to a range industry standard databases including Oracle and SQL Server. MobiForms also includes a free copy of the JDBC compliant HSQLDB database engine for off-line mobile database storage.
MobiForms contains networking functionality so that client-server mobile applications can be built using serial, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi or mobile phone connections. The MobiForms integrated MobiScript language includes timers, SMTP email, dynamic attributes at runtime (such as font colours and sizes), file and data transfer commands. Image support includes JPG and PNG files.
Other features include signature capture and sophisticated MobiScript commands for bar coding. The MobiForms development environment also includes features such as a colour palette and font chooser so that you can apply attributes directly to buttons, check boxes, fields, labels and lists.
MobiForms is supplied with a Windows development environment, a runtime environment for Windows, Tablet PC, Pocket PC, Windows CE, Windows Mobile, Smartphone, Symbian and now Android, and a free copy of the HSQLDB database engine.
One MobiForms licence includes an unlimited runtime licence for any number of mobile devices. For more information on MobiForms 5.0 with Android support please go to: www.mobiforms.com.
