Simply choose the city you are in, point the phone in the direction of the sun, and the compass program will display the north pointing needle! The application will then proceed on to the main screen, which colorfully shows the compass bearings on a dial graphic. The menu system is designed around centred text displays. The user may access other screens and progress through the application by using the keypad or directional pad to move the pointer to the appropriate menu option. Selecting your location can be made easier by using the keypad to cycle through letters of the alphabet and jump up or down the list of locations.
