Koy Merchant for iPhone/iPad - The Koy Merchant app lets merchants scan Koy coupons for authorization, logging and analytics purposes. Koy is a social network which shows relevant local deals and allows users to share them with friends.
The Koy Merchant application uses the camera on your iOS device to scan a unique QR code that is generated by the Koy Deals app. The software will contact the Koy server to request an authorization on the offer. If the offer is found to be valid, a confirmation will be sent back to the mobile device and displayed for the merchant. This way, the merchant can verify that the offer shown on a user's device is indeed valid so they can use it at checkout.
