Hurricane Sandy, one of the biggest superstorm to ever descend in the US and Canada, take the death toll of more than 100 lives. The damage caused by this Francenstorm is huge, it is estimated with billions of dollars. Hundreds of thousands of people were without power in the City that never sleep, the transit system, schools and stock exchanges for the first time all stopped after a huge wall of water brought severe flooding to subways and road tunnels. New York was among the hardest hited by Superstorm Sandy. The landfall begun in New Jersey, than made an extensive damage along the East Coast, and flooding along with structural damage with power outages followed in New York City.
