DroidEmu is a game system to play SNES, NES, GameBoy, SEGA Master System, SEGA GameGear, SEGA Genesis games on your Android phone. It runs thousands of commercial games at full speed. DroidEmuLite is a free and lite version of DroidEmu.
In order to play games designed for the emulator, you will need a copy of the original cartridge's contents, also known as a ROM. The emulator does not include any Games ROM in itself. To play games, there are two prerequisites:
1. Games ROM must have a .GB, .GBC, .GBA, .NES, .ROM, .GG, .SMS, .SMC, .SFC, .FIG, .SNES, .SMD, .GEN, .BIN, or .ZIP file extension.
2. Games ROM must be in a folder in phone system. If you're using a SD card, you'll need to put your games into it.
You may not transfer or download commercial games that you do not own. But you can check Internet for public domain games. The recommended way is to download game on the computer, and then copy to the SD Card. To copy games to the SD Card:
1. Connect the phone to a computer through a USB cable.
2. Click the system notification area, and select 'USB connected' -> 'Mount' on the phone.
3. Copy game ROM files to the mounted SD Card.
4. Click the system notification area, and select 'Turn off USB storage' -> 'Turn off' on the phone.
· Save states is not available in DroidEmuLite.
