WMD-RegInfo Widget for Androkkid - This little widget was started to display information from the registry. And a second question for a widget to show the current appointment could be fit into this as well. And this resulted in a widget that can be used to display registry information, system state information and can be used to link an icon to any shortcut (program, contact, ...), so it could be a mini launcher or contact switcher.
The result is a widget for which can display:
* the content value of a registry key
* system state information (full documentation in the settings.txt file in the download zip):
o current appointment
o next appointment
o number of missed calls (and last caller name/phone)
o operator name
o number of unread voice mails
o owner information (name, phone, e-mail)
o number of unread e-mails
o number of unread sms
o number of unread mms
o WIFI state (power off, connected, not connected)
o bluetooth state (power on/off)
o date (current date and time)
o tasks: number of tasks due today, overdue tasks, active tasks and high priority tasks
* next to registry content or system state, "icon" can be used to display an icon
* optionally link an icon to an item (use the full path to define the icon)
* optionally link an executable to an icon (use the full path to define the exe). If your exe needs input parameters, separate them from the exe with a ";", e.g. exe12=ctlpnl;cplmain.cpl,16
* optionally auto-rotate the items
* if there are more than one items, arrows appear to browse through them
* when there are more than 1 items and auto-rotate is enable, the rotate direction can be changed via the arrow icons
* specify the refresh rate (for auto-rotate, if enabled, or just to update the widget's status every xx seconds)
* new skin "contacts", specifically for contacts: the skin is suited for icons only (no text), linking back to e.g. an iContact contact. The widget size is 220x100, providing a small favorite contacts switcher for 96x96 contact images
* fix for clickable areas for resized widgets
* fix for larger or smaller skins/backgrounds
