"An-Nawawi's Forty Hadith Qudsi" is a famous collection of sacred-hadiths (the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him) collected by a 7th century Islamic scholar An-Nawawi. Hadith Qudsi (or Sacred Hadith) are so named because their authority is traced back not to the Prophet but to the Almighty. A Sacred Hadith is, as to the meaning, from Allah the Almighty; as to the wording, it is from the Prophet (peace be upon him). This authentic collection summarizes many of the doctrinal, devotional and ethical elements of Islam. This free app contains text with audio-option of Arabic or English or both.
