Pocket Flight Planner - helps you work through the preflight planning for VFR and IFR flights. It includes a large database of United States airports, navigation aids, intersections, and pertinent frequencies. Once you enter performance and loading information for your airplane, this program computes flight time, ground speed, headings, fuel usage, and center of gravity compliance.
Pocket Flight Planner lets you define the characteristics of as many airplanes as your handheld can store. You can quickly switch between airplanes with a simple drop-down list. Pocket Flight Planner can store and retrieve an unlimited number of flight plans; its weight and balance calculator lets you define items other than fuel which are consumed during your flight (i.e. deice fluid). You will see the CG envelope for your aircraft for your flight as you change the loading of your aircraft..
A program is included that you can run on your Windows desktop PC allowing you to update the navigation database by hand or from the web. Pocket Flight Planner's internal database is optimized for waypoints in the United States, usage in other geographic locations is not really supported.
