Star Manager is a football management game for Windows Mobile. The objective of the game is to pick your team, formation and tactics, and win the league. Star Manager supports Windows Pocket PC/Windows Mobile and Windows PC. Star Manager is designed to take less time to complete than traditional football management games. The game begins at the sharp end of the season, with only a few matches remaining. Depending on the ability of your team, your objective may be to be league champions, or to win promotion, qualify for Europe, or to avoid relegation. The game incorporates an ultra-realistic on screen commentary. Star Manager displays line by line detail of the match highlights in real time. The Star Manager commentary is displayed in a natural English style, similar to the type of commentary you would hear on the TV or radio from a professional football commentator. Star Manager sound effects are precisely synchronised with the on screen commentary. Star Manager is designed to be played more quickly than traditional football management games. The performance of each player is summarised using a simple, single rating, from 1 to 10. There are several levels of difficulty so that you can make the game more or less challenging. The game is completely customisable so you can play in whatever league you want, with whatever team you want, and choose any player you want. By default, the game uses a league consisting of the worlds top ten international teams.
